Maura Higgins revealed how her friend Giovanni Pernice left this beautiful message to wish his “princess” a good day.

he Love Island star shared the picture of the note on Instagram in which her Italian friend wrote: “Have a good day, princess! I love you more than anything.”

The dancer adds the words “Ti amo di più”, which means “I love you most” in Italian.

Giovanni, 31 and Maura, 30, who confirmed their romance in July just weeks after dating, have recently denied claims that their relationship was in trouble because of the so-called “Strictly Curse”.

The supposed curse is related to some candidates who end up romancing with other participants even though they are already in a relationship.

Maura recently re-shared an article on Twitter in which a source claimed the curse did not “bother” her because she trusted the “great flirt” Giovanni.

The Longford native slammed the report and wrote: “Another weekend brings another story full of rubbish !! What will it be next week guys? ‘

And in an interview with Hello! Giovanni magazine said he didn’t think there was such a curse.

He said, “Maura is absolutely fine in the sense that it’s not a curse, I’m going to dance with my celebrity and she will support me all the way.

“Realistically, there is no need for the curse if you are happy in your relationship. If you are satisfied with your wife or husband, you would not continue cheating.

“I always answer the same; You can have a curse anywhere, when you go to the office you can curse someone who is working with you.

“It’s not a ‘Strictly Curse’, it’s something that is nothing wrong with when you’re single, when your partner is single and you end up liking each other.”

Giovanni added: “Maura is beautiful, funny and a very loyal person. We get on very well, we just enjoy getting to know each other. ”
