Radisson Collection continues to expand with the opening of its fourth hotel in Italy in the heart of venice

Located in an extraordinary Venetian architectural jewel on the Cannaregio Canal, the Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Nani Venice opens its doors in the historical heart of the city.

The Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Nani Venice is located near the Venetian Ghetto in the north of the city. The 52 beautifully designed rooms of the hotel with a view of the Cannaregio Canal, the streets of the city or the quiet inner courtyard create a feeling of serenity through a refined color palette and soft fabrics. The interior preserves the stucco work and frescoes attributed to the Italian sculptor Alessandro Vittoria, who also redesigned the palazzo in the 1680s.

Built in the 16th century, the hotel was the residence of the Nani family, an ancient Venetian family who were preoccupied with the political, social, and cultural life of the city’s rich past. A 22-month major renovation project led by architectural firm Marco Piva and approved by the Fine Arts Heritage Committee has transformed Palazzo Nani into a five-star Radisson Collection hotel, known for its exceptional service and guest experiences. The restoration work aimed to preserve the original decorative and architectural elements of the facade and interior of the building. Particular attention was paid to the restoration of historical ornaments, stucco and paintings on the walls and ceilings. During the excavation, some Roman floors were found and registered by the Fine Arts and Monument Protection Authorities.

The hotel’s facilities include a private meeting room with space for up to 80 people and the Zoja Wine Bar & Terrace, named after the noble family who also once resided in the Palazzo, serving traditional Venetian food, wines and cocktails in a cosmopolitan atmosphere. The quiet garden on the north side of the hotel overlooks the Cannaregio Canal and creates a visual connection between the garden and the water.

The Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Nani Venice is located in the Cannaregio district, famous for the historic Jewish Ghetto and the many local bars and restaurants that offer a truly Venetian experience. The vaporetto stop right in front of the hotel provides easy access to the rest of the city and its attractions and connects the hotel to the train station, the airport and the popular islands of Murano and Burano. Venice is the second most visited Italian city after Rome with the most international tourists thanks to its world-famous artistic heritage, unique urban architecture and UNESCO World Heritage status. Venice also hosts year-round art and architecture biennials, the internationally renowned film festival, and other cultural exhibitions.
